Caribbean Poker Regulations and Hints

Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers are given 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pays out chips equal to your ante and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
