Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is equal to your original wager, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays money even with your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
