Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker contender on the globe by quite a few of the top professionals. He was born in Riverside, CA and moved to NJ before reaching turning one. His grandpa showed him to one cent-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wanted to learn every little thing he possibly could about poker. Phil decided to take his game to the next level and moved out west to Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players in the world. Ivey credits his achievements to dedication and an undying love for poker. He says that he is learning every single day and is incredibly humble about his success. Phil admits to making mistakes every single session of poker and constantly strives to improve.

Even though Phil has won some big-time tournaments, he favors destroying cash games on a normal basis.
