Internet poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the dealer declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players attain five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure on par with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
